The difference
There’s a slight difference between giving up and walking away.
Giving up is when you stop trying because you think you’re not good enough, but you’re still not giving your best. And the object of your affection is not giving any respond to you, because you don’t even ask for one. For short: a coward.
Walking away is when you stop trying because you’ve done your best. You’ve tried anything possible to reach the object of your affection and you ask for them to realize you, but they don’t give you any attention because they don’t want to. In short: you respect their decision and walk away.
Yes, I’m going to walk away. I respect your decision by giving me weeks of silence. I’ve tried my best.
